Only 4 countries send Independence Day message to Military Council

Only four countries have sent messages to the Coup d’état for the 74th Independence Day, according to propaganda reports released today (January 4).

Heads of state and foreign ministers from around the world send congratulatory messages. Cambodia Only four authoritarian or semi-authoritarian countries, such as Serbia and North Korea, have submitted letters to the Security Council.

The message was published in almost one page of the military junta propaganda newspaper. Three from Cambodia; One letter each from Serbia and North Korea.

We value close cooperation with Myanmar through ASEAN. Cambodia’s King Norodom Sihamoni has sent a message to the military council leader Min Aung Hlaing today urging peaceful development.

Messages from other ASEAN countries, including neighboring China and India, have yet to be found.

United States The European Union and Canada are wishing the people of Burma a happy 74th Independence Day.

“On the occasion of Independence Day today, the Embassy of Canada in Myanmar would like to commend the courage and resilience of the people of Myanmar,” the Canadian Embassy said in a statement.
